World’s Most Expensive Property: A $388Penthouse in Monaco

Luxury properties in Monaco are as natural an occurrence as fish are in the sea. Consequently, it is only fitting that the world’s new most expensive property per square meter will be built right here, in this small and fascinating principality.

We are talking about a plush penthouse that will occupy the upper levels of the second tallest building on the Mediterranean Coastline, the 558 foot Odeon Tower. The building will hold 70 deluxe apartments with one to six bedrooms. The masterminds behind this bold project are architect Alexander Giraldi, landscape architect Jean Mus, and interior design agency Alberto Pinto.

Construction of the building started in 2009 and will reportedly end in the summer of 2014. Every abode inside the tower will flaunt floor-to-ceiling windows for breathtaking unobstructed views and endless waves of natural light. They will also feature private terraces overlooking the Ligurian Sea, the Larvotto beach, and the city. Some of the best amenities in the tower will include full-time concierge service, swimming pools, saunas, private spas, a cinema, and even private chauffeured limousines.

The world’s most expensive luxury property will dominate the last several stories of the Odeon Tower and will offer 3,300 square feet of lavish spaces. This is not exactly the largest home you can think of, but it sure is the most expensive one: interested customers should be ready to part with approximately $388! Obviously, the level of luxury it will boast will be beyond what most people have ever seen or dreamed of: exclusive infinity pool, private water slide, and much more.
