World’s Most Expensive Denture Costs $153,000

When it comes to jewelry, most people choose to wear conventional pieces such as rings, bracelets and necklaces, but some are actually looking to decorate their teeth with precious metals, and there’s really nothing wrong with that. Lavish dentures made out of precious materials have been around for quite some time now, and even though they’re not exactly mainstream jewelry pieces, they are quite popular with the rich and famous.

The most expensive denture in the world costs no less than $153,000, and it is manufactured by the Dubai Liberty Dental Clinic. The denture is made out of 10 grams of 24-carat gold, and it is adorned with no less than 160 round diamonds, which flaunt a total weight of 2.5 carats. These lavish materials feature authenticity and clarity certificates that were obtained from Belgium’s International Gemological Institute. However, even though it was created using some of the most durable materials in the world, this jewelry piece is actually meant to be used as a fashion accessory, which means that eating or drinking while wearing it is discouraged.

If you would like to own and wear one of these luxurious dentures, you can always visit the aforementioned clinic and get one fitted in just 2 sessions. Even though it’s not officially recognized as the most expensive denture in the world by Guinness, the brace is starting to prove popular already, since one was already purchased by a female customer from the UAE. It’s also worth mentioning that the brace’s creators promised that about $27,000 from each sale would be donated to a UAE children’s charity.
