World’s Fastest Violin Player Insures His Fingers for £3M!

Ben Lee is a member of rock violin duo Fuse and the fastest violin player on the globe. He proved this to the world when he broke the world record by playing Flight of the Bumblebee, setting a time of just 64.21 seconds. A month later he broke his own record and the “magic-minute” barrier, which experts considered it was almost impossible to break. He finished the melody in 58.515.

After injuring his right hand and wrist in a road accident in 2009, the incredibly talented violinist decided it was time to insure his fingers…for £3 million (approx. $4.774 million)! Lee is also the owner of the most expensive electric violin in the world, studded with countless sparkling Swarovski crystals.
