He proved this to the world when he broke the world record by playing Flight of the Bumblebee, setting a time of just 64.21 seconds. A month later he broke his own record and the “magic-minute” barrier, which experts considered it was almost impossible to break. He finished the melody in 58.515.
After injuring his right hand and wrist in a road accident in 2009, the incredibly talented violinist decided it was time to insure his fingers…for £3 million (approx. $4.774 million)! Lee is also the owner of the most expensive electric violin in the world, studded with countless sparkling Swarovski crystals.
