BMC Group has found a nice way to promote their new Stromer ST1 electric bike within the US market: a sweepstakes that will end with one lucky winner taking home a sleek, eco-friendly bike. The Stromer will be available in two versions – Elite and Platinum – and it will be powered by an electric motor coupled to a battery inside the frame.
Four different riding modes ensure comfort on various types of terrain, so you can enjoy a perfect ride on your way to work or during a relaxing stroll in the park. With quite a hefty price tag, the bike flaunts carbon elements and a perfectly balanced body.
The Elite version is powered by a500-watt continuous output motor that can ensure 20-40 miles of effortless riding and a maximum speed of 20 mph. The Platinum variant is faster, being capable of reaching 30 mph. It also flaunts a better range of electric riding: between 25 and 50 mph. The first is priced at $3,499, while the latter will cost an additional $500. Interested customers can also opt for a step through frame for extra comfort.
