Vertu, the renowned luxury mobile phone manufacturer, has launched a new handset, called the Vertu Constellation Smile phone. With in a vulcanized rubber body, the gadget is available in four different colors: orange, blue, purple, and the more classy black color.
Even though it flaunts a state-of-the-art miniature sound system, a multi-touch sapphire screen and other high-end features, the best thing about this piece is not its looks nor its functionalities. What makes the Constellation Smile truly special is the fact that it can help heal children who suffer from different types of cleft disorders, such as cleft lips, cleft palates, or both.
The campaign started on June 12, and it was developed in collaboration with a worldwide non profit organization, called Smile Train. With each handset that people buy, one child is granted a free surgery that will repair his or her cleft malformation. Isn’t this a good enough reason to buy yourself a new luxury mobile phone?
