Vulcain has unveiled two new high-end timepieces for rich and stylish men: the Nautical Heritage Calendar and the Cricket Anniversary Heart Calendar watches. The first one celebrates the 50th anniversary of the model and its production is limited to only 1961 pieces (the number obviously represents the year when the model was launched). It has a 42mm case that protects the 157-parts movement with 17 rubies at up to 300 meters under water. The calf leather strap is also waterproof. Price is $6,475.
The Cricket Anniversary Heart Calendar watch is far more impressive, and this is well reflected by its price: $41,650. It is made of rose gold and has a black Louisiana alligator leather strap. The 257-parts movement flaunts 23 rubies and is perfectly protected by the golden case to up to 50 meters under water. There are two crowns on this watch, (at 2 and 3 o’clock), one for the alarm and one for winding up the power reserve. A small date window can be seen at 6 o’clock. The Cricket caliber V-22 movement is housed in a 42-mm case and part of it can bee seen exposed in the center of the dial.
