On September 8, RM Auctions will hold its largest ever sale in London: a two-day auction that will certainly draw a large number of Mercedes-Benz enthusiasts from all over the world. The event is centered around an amazing collection of historic Mercedes cars, appropriately called “The Ultimate Mercedes-Benz Collection”.
Quite impressively, the entire collection is owned by a single person, which is a very rare thing at auctions. Interested bidders will find some very interesting, important, rare and highly desirable vehicles at the sale, and a bidding war is definitely on the menu.
This is an event that no car collector can afford to miss. It will show over eight decades of Mercedes history, including limousines, pre and postwar touring and sports cars, and everything else a connoisseur may be looking for. The most recent piece is a 1970 300 SEL 6.3 beauty, but the collection goes as far back in time as 1886 with a superb replica of a Benz Patent Motorwagen.
