When finished, World One will be India’s most iconic building, and the tallest residential one in the world. Its developers, Lodha Developers Ltd., have awarded the contract for civil construction of the tower to ACC (Arabian Construction Company) and Simplex Infrastructures Ltd. ACC is already famous for mind-blowing creations like 100-floors Princess Tower in Dubai, or the Pentominium in Dubai, boasting over 100 floors. But this project will take their fame one step further, as the impressive building will have at least 117 stories of luxury and comfort.
The tower will comprise some 300 homes: 3 and 4 Bedroom World Residences, deluxe World Villas with private pools and a few extremely lavish duplex World Mansions. New York-based Pei Cobb Free & Partners have designed World One, and they did a great job. The curvy shape of the tower allows for unobstructed 360ᵒ views of the entire city of Mumbai. Residents here will enjoy concierge service by Quintessentially and a luxe spa by Six Senses. The project is expected to be completed in 38 months.
