The Superb 2014 S-Class to Hit the Roads in July (9)

According to Dr Dieter Zetsche, Head of Mercedes-Benz Cars, this year is the year of the S-Class. Daimler will invest an impressive $1 billion in Mercedes-Benz’s Sindelfingen Plant, introducing new manufacturing processes that will ensure flawless results.

For the new generation of the beloved luxury sedan, the automaker promises three new models aside from the coupe, the extended wheelbase and the short-wheelbase. The entire manufacturing process will be carried out at Sindelfingen, including the optional features, which by the way are so numerous “that it is unlikely any S-Class will be entirely identical to another over the lifecycle of the vehicle”.

There are three key focuses in the development of the new car: ‘Efficient Technology’, ‘Intelligent Drive’ and ‘Essence of luxury’. These principles incorporate advanced safety, and comfort technologies, as well as a series of new systems meant to ensure a perfect driving experience to every passenger. The alluring 2014 S-Class will be delivered to its first buyers on July 20, 2013.
