Inspired by the Celtic god of thunder and wheel, the Citroen Taranis is an amazing off-road concept that will make any off-road racer’s heart rate accelerate only at the sight of it! Four electric motors power this huge beast from within each wheel hub, thus bringing the vehicle’s gravity center lower and offering better handling. To reduce the turning circle, the Citroen concept received double-jointed front swing arms.
Taranis, the Celtic god, is often depicted with a thunder bolt in one hand and with a wheel in the other, and we believe that this awesome concept reflects his intimidating stance perfectly. The designer behind this bold project is Peter Norris.
