Based on the Vantage GT4 race car, the new Aston Martin V8 Vantage S is the sports version of the already impressive V8 Vantage. It is available in both the coupe and the roadster variants. The tweaked 4.7-liter V8 engine can deliver 430 bhp and 361 lb-ft of maximum torque, and the potent motor is mated to a new seven-speed Sportshift II transmission.
Other changes include the front brake discs and calipers, new springs and dampers, wider rear wheels, Brake Assist, Hill Start Assist and more. The interior is customizable and we recommend the Kevlar seats, which save some 17 kg (over 37 pounds) in the vehicle’s weight.
The starting price for the coupe is £102,500 ($163,000), while the roadster starts at £110,700 ($176,000). Orders can be placed from Aston Martin’s global dealership network.
