The iPad Tank Case by Andrea Ponti

Because every iPad owner wants to have their gadget safe and always protected from shocks and harm, Andrea Ponti designed a rather intriguing case for the beloved Apple device. It is called the Tank Case, and it is made of aluminum, which gives it two excellent characteristics: it is very lightweight and at the same time extremely resistant.

The case weighs only 275 grams (9.7 ounces) and has an ABS clasp. The front aluminum shell can be rotated and comfortably placed over the back one, thus not interfering with the user’s handling of the touch screen. The bottom shell is lined with a very thin polymeric membrane, and the top one features a raised pattern that is meant to ensure extra protection in case the owner drops the tablet.

Priced at $100, the case can be used to hold the iPad in a variety of ways. It allows the user to tilt the screen at a 14-degree angle for writing, or choose the vertical stand conversion which is excellent for video calls. For reading or internet browsing, the front shell can be hidden over the back one, thus protecting the camera and providing an excellent grip. Make sure you also check the photos below.
