The Exquisite Lamborghini Pregunta Concept for Sale

Launched in 1998 and still very impressive, the Lamborghini Pregunta was the automaker’s last concept developed on an in-house body, before it was acquired by Audi. The beautiful car was introduced at the 1998 Paris Motor Show, where it made people stop and stare in amazement. The following year at the Geneva Motor Show it continued to attract a lot of admiring glances from everybody present at the event.

Today, 15 years later, the supercar still makes us turn our heads and burst in exclamations. The concept was commissioned by French Carrosserie Heuliez, who wanted a mind-blowing design that would stand out and could not be confused with anything else on the market at that time. It had to be built in a Diablo chassis and be completely original.

Boasing a carbon fiber body, an aircraft-inspired design, a rear-wheel drive (unlike Diablo’s AWD system), and a V12 engine capable of 530 HP, the Pregunta was an instant success. It had an intimidating top speed of 207 mph and was coated with the same paint as the French military’s Dassault Rafale fighter jet. Now this one-off beauty is on the market, and its seller (vintage exotic cars specialist AutoDrome) asks $1.6 million for it.
