The Elegant 2014 Mercedes-Benz E-Class Coupe

The fourth generation Mercedes-Benz E-Class Coupe will hit the market in the summer of 2014, packing a series of exciting new features. Probably the best thing about the new car is its new M276 bi-turbo V6 engine that can deliver high power at good rpm values. The max 329 horsepower is available at 5,500 rpm, while the full 354 pound-feet of torque is attained between 1,400 and 4,000 rpm.

The 7-speed automatic transmission plays a vital role in the car’s 0-60 mph estimated time of 5.1 seconds, by sending the power quickly and efficiently to the rear wheels. Top speed is 155 mph, and the estimated fuel consumption is 20 mpg in the city/30 mpg on the highway.

We also like the few design changes that we can see in the new coupe. No more quad headlamps for this generation, no B pillars, and new ‘pontoon’ fenders are some of the immediately noticeable differences between the old and new models. Of course, the inside is just as elegant and luxurious – after all, we are talking about Mercedes here!

Technology-wise, the coupe doesn’t disappoint either. The brand’s COMAND infotainment system can be controlled via steering wheel buttons, central knob or voice commands, while the optional mbrace system brings a series of other goodies to the table: automatic collision notification, weather updates, concierge service, stolen vehicle location assistance, and much more.
