The Breathtaking Ubud Hanging Gardens

Surrounded by beautiful thick forests and terraced gardens, Ubud Hanging Gardens is a luxurious hotel situated in Ubud, Bai, Indonesia. Two dedicated landscape architects, William Warren and John Pettigrew, created the breathtaking hotel’s garden, which could be called a ‘Heaven on Earth’ tropical garden, with a real ‘collection’ of exotic plants and fruit trees such as: cocoa, coffee, durian, lychees, rambutan, flame trees, bamboos, orchids and bird of paradise flowers.

The hotel’s 38 Balinese style villas were designed by architect Gordon Shaw and were all built on wooden pillars, which seem to defy gravity. The villas have different styles of accommodation and so the guests can choose from four categories: six 2-bedroom Family Pool villas of 160m², two panoramic view suite pool villas of 160 m², 15 deluxe Pool villas of about 100m², and 15 panoramic view deluxe Pool villas of about 100m². They all have king size beds, large bathrooms and batik cotton fabrics.

This hotel features open air terraces with showers, amazing infinity plunge pools and Bales relaxation areas, which offer beautiful views of the emerald terraced rice-fields, the Pura Penataran Dalem Segara temple, the Ayung river and the tropical paradise of Bali.
