The 888-HP Tramontana XTR for Adrenaline Junkies

Tramontana, a Spain-based, not-so-famous auto manufacturer, has started working on its next stunner, the XTR, which is the successor of the Tramontana R. This two-seater is expected to be just as impressive as all the other creations of the brand.

The supercar has a special interior configuration, with the passenger seat being situated behind that of the driver. The two are enclosed in a futuristic glass bubble that contributes to the overall aerodynamic traits of the vehicle. A number of upgrades (altered chassis, new front fascia with new headlights and spoiler, new rear diffuser, and new rear spoiler) makes this baby not only very good looking, but also very able to split the air effortlessly at extreme speeds.

Under the bonnet there will be a strong 5.5-liter V12 twin-turbo  engine from Mercedes-Benz. The output figures will be staggering: 888 horsepower and 722 pound-foot of torque. An ultra-rapid competition gearbox will send all this power to the rear wheels, which in turn will push the car to a maximum speed of 214 mph, after completing the 0-60 mph sprint in only 3.6 seconds. The XTR will appear on the market by the end of the year, and prices will start at around $514,000.
