It seems that Whirlpool’s experts thought of the same scenario when they designed Swash – an innovative appliance that can remove odors and wrinkles from clothes in just 10 minutes.
Basically, all you have to do is hang your clothes on a hanger inside the appliance, put in a gel-filled pod and press a button. The gel seeps into the fabric and ensures moisture while a thermal-heating system makes sure that the clothing piece is dried up in a heartbeat. It’s pretty obvious that Swash was not intended to replace a washing machine altogether, but it can be quite useful for barely worn clothing items that need a refresh. To make things even better, this thing costs just $500.
