What we have here is a spectacular Ford GT40 from 1966 that’s set to go under the hammer during the Monterey 2016 event between 19 and 20 August, 2016. The car in question bears the chassis number P/1057, the engine number SGT/18 and the gearbox number NR157, and it features a beautiful bright red paintjob that’s simply impossible to ignore.
The Ford GT40 endurance-racing car was manufactured from 1964 to 1969, and only 107 of these vehicles ever made it out of the factory. Given its incredible history and performance, this car will undoubtedly bring in quite a bit of cash. By the way, how much would you be willing to pay for it?
