Lamborghini made quite a stir when it donated a remarkable Gallardo to the Italian Police Force, but it’s been 6 years since then and the automobile, as beastly as it may be, required a fresh replacement. The replacement for the Police Gallardo came in the form of a sublime Lamborghini Huracán, which was donated and presented to the institution by Stephan Winkelmann himself in Rome.
Boasting a top speed of 202mph, the Huracán features a series of special modifications that make it well suited for police work. These include a carefully designed flashing blue light that does not ruin the car’s aerodynamic capabilities, but we should also mention the high-end Proof Video Data System that is able to measure the speed of any vehicle before sending its picture to the police station.
The Huracán Polizia features the same blue Polizia paintjob that was found on its Gallardo predecessor, and it also boasts the same lettering and recognizable white stripes. See it for yourself in the images below!
