These brand new motorcycles by Ducati were designed and built with performance in mind, and they are a part of the Ducati Monster Stripe Series. They are named Monster 821 Stripe and Monster 1200s Stripe, and even though they look almost identical, they feature different performance capabilities. As far as looks are concerned, the bikes boast dashing red paintjobs complemented by white Ducati stripe liveries that go across their carbon fiber fenders, tanks and seat covers. Apart from the carbon fiber fenders, the two-wheelers also flaunt carbon fiber belt covers, Plexiglas windshields and various high-grade aluminum finishes.
Starting off with the Monster 821 Stripe, we can tell you that it features a compact trellis frame as well as a classic tubular sub-frame layout that contributes to great maneuverability. The power comes from a Testastretta 11°’ 821 cc engine that ensures an output of 112 hp at 9,250 rev/min.
The Monster 1200s Stripe is considerably more powerful, as it comes with a second-generation Testastretta 11° ds 1198 cc engine that’s good for 145hp at 8,750 rev/min. This bike also comes with a ride-by-wire system that ensures improved control.
As far as availability is concerned, both of these models are currently available for purchase at various Ducati shops around the world.
