Leaving behind the lavish Cessna Citation X and the Gulfstream G650, the new Saker S-I is not the new fastest private jet in the world. Capable of reaching Mach 0.99, this fighter jet inspired aircraft is created for the rich and adventurous.
The necessary power for that impressive performance comes from its Williams FJ44-4 engines, which can ensure a New York – London flight in only four and a half hours. The 500 gallon fuel tank is large enough to cover 1390 nautical miles, but you can extend that range to 2,000 nautical miles with two 100 gallon external tanks.
Even though the first deliveries are only scheduled for 2019, interested customers an already place preorders for the awesome Saker S-I. Price will vary depending on what extra options the customers will require (an ejection seat is on the list), but you can expect it to be between $5 and $7 million.
