Two new editions of the beloved Rolls-Royce Ghost have been unveiled at the Shanghai Auto Show: the 2012 Rolls-Royce Ghost Extended Wheelbase and the Ghost China Edition.

The first one is 6.7 inches longer than the original model, offering plenty of room for stretching and enjoying a perfectly comfortable ride. You can choose to have a chauffeur, but you can also drive the vehicle yourself, as Rolls-Royce promises a highly satisfying driving experience, regardless of the added length. Back passengers will enjoy a panoramic sunroof too.

The Ghost China Edition was obviously created for the Chinese market and it’s a fully customizable model. Options include gold coachlines, stainless steel pinstriping and a gold-plated Spirit of Ecstasy.

Full production of the Ghost Extended Wheelbase will only start next year, but Rolls Royce will create a very limited number of units until the end of 2011 as well.
