Richard Mille Limited Edition Watches for Le Mans

As the official timekeeper and main partner of the Le Mans Classic race, Richard Mille has unveiled two new remarkable timepieces created specially for the 2012 edition of the automotive competition. Both limited edition issues, the watches are known as the RM 008 LMC Tourbillon Chronograph and the RM 011 LMC Automatic Chronograph.

Inspired by racing cars, these are high-performance sports timepieces for men with refined tastes. The first is a tourbillon split-seconds chronograph, and it is an unmistakable tribute to the world-famous race. It features yellow and blue color details on the dial, evoking the rumble strips on the Le Mans circuit. Also, the Le Mans Classic logo can be found on the dial at the 12 o’clock position. Measuring 48mm x 39.7mm x 14.95mm, the case is made of grade 5 microblasted titanium. This model will only be produced in two pieces.

The second model, the RM 011 LMC, is limited to 150 units, and it flaunts a skeletonized automatic movement with annual calendar and flyback chronograph. Yellow and blue elements also decorate this watch, and a 24-hour counter can be found at the 6’oclock position. The titanium case measures 50mm x 40mm x 16.5 mm, and the power reserve is of 50 hours, which is 20 hours less than that of the RM 008 LMC.
