Renovo Coupe Is A Fully Electric American Supercar

Even if you are a diehard fan of European supercars such as Ferraris or Lamborghinis, you have to admit that American supercars are also quite extraordinary in their own way. Especially when it comes to beastly muscle cars, American engineers are responsible for the creation of multiple masterpieces, but we shouldn’t forget about their success with the electric Tesla Model S, which is widely considered to be one of the most powerful electric cars in existence.

To make things even better, a company named Renovo created an electric supercar named Coupe, which was unveiled officially during the 2014 edition of the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance. This car was inspired in its design by the Shelby Daytona Coupe from 1964, which means that it flaunts a great mix of classic looks and contemporary performance. Power-wise, its fully electric drivetrain gives off an output of 1,000 lb-ft torque and 500 horsepower, and the 0-60 sprint can be achieved in just 3.4 seconds. With a range of over 100 miles and a top speed of 120 mph, the Renovo Coupe boasts competitive performance capabilities, and since it can be charged completely in just 30 minutes, it is actually quite practical as well.

However, with a price tag of $529,000, this car is not exactly affordable, but we are talking about a supercar after all, meaning that 6 figures are to be expected.
