This piece of news is for all the dedicated car collectors out there. A very rare 1949 Ferrari 166 M Touring Barchetta is ready to be sold at the RM Auctions event scheduled for January 20-21, 2011. Only 25 units were ever made and this is the 10th one in the lineup.
The car has been completely restored and it’s now prepared to fetch between $1.9 million and $2.4 million at the auction in Arizona. But we won’t be surprised if collectors will be willing to pay even more for it, as the red beauty is considered to be one of the most important exclusive historic Ferraris.
