Concept PX-MiEV II is Mitsubishi’s hybrid version of the 2013 Mitsubishi Outlander. The green model is expected to be launched in the first half of 2013.
Besides the traditional 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine, this model also has two electric motors powered by a lithium-ion battery pack. The car offers three driving modes, which utilize a combination of petrol and electric power. It can reach up to 31 miles (50km) using only electric power and 497 miles (800 km) combined with the petrol engine.
