Even though it looks strikingly similar to a kids’ watch, what we’re about to present is actually a very expensive Romain Jerome timepiece that was created in collaboration with The Pokémon Company International. The Pikachu watch is based on the Swiss brand’s Moon Invader model, and it is limited to just 20 units worldwide.
Its case measures 46mm, and it is complemented by a yellow vulcanized rubber strap that’s secured by ball and socket joints. However, those of you who want to go for a more elegant look can always choose the leather or fabric strap options, even though this might dampen the overall Pikachu theme a bit. Directly onto a black DLC-coated baseplate, a large enamel hand-painted Pikachu smiles innocently alongside a few satin-brushed and sand-blasted lightning bolts. The bolts flaunt the renowned yellow Pikachu colorway, and they also boast a slight 3D effect.
The timepiece is powered by a Caliber RJ001-A mechanical self-winding movement, which includes 23 jewels and comes with a power reserve of 42 hours.
This limited-edition luxury watch costs $20,000.
