If your idea of a drone involves a rather small device equipped with four propellers, then you might want to rethink that definition. Parrot has recently unveiled its brand new Disco drone, which features an airplane-like design as well as a single propeller.
The drone’s nose houses a Full HD camera that’s able to record impressive videos with incredible sharpness and color accuracy. Other noteworthy features include GPS, Wi-Fi and three-axis stabilization, which is always a welcomed addition as it improves overall control. What makes the Disco drone stand out, however, is the fact that it can remain in the air for up to 45 minutes. The pilot can also set predetermined courses based on GPS checkpoints and have the drone follow the route before returning home on its own.
