With designs etched by renowned Russian artist Denis Simachev, the vehicle is said to boast an impressive 20 kg (44 pounds) of gold plating. Initially believed to have cost about €330,000, the beyond luxurious vehicle was reportedly stolen and found again some time ago, during a test drive.
The makeover also includes golden custom floor mats, new Brembo brakes, a Gemballa exhaust system, and Techart wheels. With only 58.535 kilometers covered so far, the golden 966 Turbo Cabriolet is anxiously waiting for a new owner to take it for a long, glamorous drive.
