The new G16 keeps its predecessor’s sensor, but brings a series of improvements, such as integrated Wi-Fi Technology and newHigh Speed DIGIC 6 image processor. You get lower shutter lag time, 50 percent better AF speed system, great low-light images, special HDR Scene mode that eliminates the need for a tripod, and more.
The body only got a few small changes, but on the inside things are definitely yummier.
