Porsche Design has recently unveiled the autumn/winter season 2011 fashion collection and we love it. It’s their most expensive one ever and for good reasons too: it boasts high quality clothing items, including women’s wear and premium jeans. The two words that characterize every piece in the new collection is (again) “timeless and purist”. Intelligently cut and impeccably crafted, all items flaunt a classic sporting design and an uncluttered line, with a perfect fit.
Two of the main highlights of the collection are the P’1140 Aviator Jacket and the P’1140 RawTec Blazer, both available in men’s and women’s versions. The first is a lambskin jacket that even though is very lightweight, it can still ensure an optimum body temperature for its wearer. Inspired by traditional pilot jackets, the Aviator Jacket features shoulder patches, large pockets and a stand-up collar for cold weather.
The P’1140 RawTec Blazers are made of fine full-grain lamb leather and offer maximum comfort. They are crafted with great attention to detail and in an unusual manner, which results in no material duplication. All pieces of leather are put edge-to-edge, stitched together in a zigzag pattern and then fused with a tape – talk about purist design. The new collection will be available in Porsche Design Stores around the world, starting Septmebler 2011.
