In order to mark its milestone anniversary, the St Martins Lane hotel in London became the focus of an extensive renovation process. The hotel’s 204 guestrooms received new designs based on minimalism and comfort, but the establishment’s in-house restaurant also received some attention.

Named Asia de Cuba, the restaurant now features a brand new menu signed by Cuban-born executive chef Luis Pous. The hotel also incorporates a late night cocktail lounge named Blind Spot, which is located at the core of London’s Covent Garden. Its interior design was envisioned by Tim Andreas of Banjo Ad Inc. Andreas and honors none other than St Martins Lane’s initial designer, Philippe Starck.

As for the bedrooms, they boast polished aluminum details, linen drapery, pale leopard print carpets and teardrop lighting fixtures, all of which contribute to a welcoming and luxurious ambiance. They also flaunt a modern interactive light system that enables guests to change the room’s lighting according to their own preferences. Other highlights include laminated glass desks that support flat-screen TVs, as well as rotating white leather chairs and mini bars with mirrors.
