For its 20th anniversary of operations in China, Ermenegildo Zenga, the renowned Italian fashion house, has launched a special collection of luxury items. Developed in collaboration with important names in the fashion industry like Girard-Perregaux, Vertu and Tateossian, the collection includes high-end watches, mobile phones, cufflinks and fabrics.
The luxury watch features an 18-karat rose gold chassis, scratch-resistant sapphire-crystal case back and front covering, and a GP04C0 self-winding mechanical movement with 40 jewels. The watch is water resistant to 100 feet and the power reserve is of minimum 40 hours. The buckle pin is decorated with the Ermenegildo Zenga logo and the strap is brown alligator skin. Production is limited to only 20 pieces.
Made of 18-karat rose gold, the opulent Vertu handset flaunts sapphire crystals for the face and keys, adding up to 106.96 karats (30 sapphire crystals in all). The select key boasts a 0.35-karat princess cut ruby for a plus of glamour. Brown alligator skin decorates the back of the phone and the backplate proudly wears the Ermenegildo Zenga logo.
Beautifully crafted by Tateossian, these 18-karat solid rose gold cufflinks show the Zenga China 20th anniversary logo and ten pieces of discretely embedded rubies per pair. They come in exquisite leather boxes and are limited to 20 pairs.
Two special fabrics were also created for this collection. Customers can choose between the super fine Pin-Stripe fabric with a pattern that evokes the Bamboo (Chinese symbol of longevity), and the Double Wrap fabric with both sides finished: one plain and one pinstriped. The suites will be tailor made for each customer and will bear unique serial numbers, as production is limited to only twenty pieces. For some extra exclusivity, the customer’s name will be woven onto the labels and engraved on the buttons.
