This new luxury timepiece for men comes from Zenith and it is the latest addition to the brand’s El Primero collection. It is called El Primero Chronomaster Power Reserve and one of its most appealing features is the opening on the dial through which the fascinating interior mechanism can be seen beating perpetually like a heart.
Its 42 mm case is available in steel, rose gold, and rose gold and steel. Inside it there is an El Primero 4021 automatic movement with 248 components and 39 jewels. It has a frequency of 36,000 VpH and a quite impressive power reserve of 50 hours. The power status can be checked on the dial at the 6 o’clock position.
Other functions include hours and minutes in the center, a central chronograph hand, a 30-minute counter at 3 o’clock, and small seconds at 9 o’clock. For perfect visibility the front and back sapphire crystals have anti-reflection treatment, while the hour markers sport Super Luminova SLN C1 treatment. Straps are available in alligator leather with rubber lining as well as stainless steel.
