A lot of visual thrills will be presented at the Geneva Motor Show starting the day after tomorrow. But we think it’s safe to say that no one will compare with this baby: the Threewheeler from Morgan Motors.

This is actually a reinterpretation of an older model, one which appeared in 1909 and was just as odd-looking back then as it is now. It was a really fast vehicle in its time and it won the French grand prix in 1913. It also set a few speed records, so you can imagine it was a pretty successful ride of the early 20th century.

Today’s model is powered by a S&S V-twin engine visible at the front of the car and can put out 115 horsepower. The power is transmitted to the rear wheel through a Mazda five-speed gear box and a rubber V belt.

Weighing approximately 500 kg (1,100 lbs), the Threewheeler will cost about £25,000, or some $40,000. Morgan Motors assures us that the driving experience offered by this little vintage monster is completely satisfying.
