Minimalist Beachfront Residence by Javier Artadi Arquitectos

Designed by Javier Artadi Arquitectos, this 2,300-square foot minimalist residence can be found approximately 100 miles south of Lima, Peru. More exactly, it is located by the beach, in Las Arenas, and it offers enchanting views of the vast Pacific Ocean.

The project consists of a container box that integrates the living and dining spaces with the terrace and pool area, thus ensuring prefect continuity throughout the house. Some plans of the construction have been strategically cut out to obtain a perfect sunlight-shadow interplay, and an ideal visual experience towards the sky, the water, and the lovely surroundings.

The result is a unique contemporary home that has a maze-like feel to it. Also worth noting is the hovering effect that the residence enjoys thanks to its deliberately suspended design over the perfectly manicured lawn.
