Mariah Carey’s unborn twins will enter a realm of sheer luxury when they will be brought into the palatial mansion of their parents. Mariah and her husband Nick Cannon have agreed that their children deserve and will have all the best things in the world, so they started with the huge and lushly appointed nursery.
Rumors have it that the couple have changed an entire wing in their Beverly Hills mansion and dedicated it to their children. The nursery features a large walk-in wardrobe packed with Petit Tresor clothes, ivory walls, 18-karat gold trims and sophisticated furnishings. These include Chelsea sleigh cribs ($2,200 each), a Clara changing table ($2,800), Glam Glider chairs ($2,270) and a $1 million sofa that Michael Jackson used in his shows. The sofa features 24-karat gold, red velvet and onyx.
State of the art technology is also an important part of the nursery. A flat screen TV descends for the ceiling, a top-notch sound system is ready to play delicate lullabies, and diamond incrusted iPods are just some of the ‘toys’ prepared for the twins.
