Mesmerizing BMW 3.0 CSL Hommage

The BMW 3.0 CSL Hommage honors one of the most important cars in the German automaker’s history, namely the BMW 3.0CSL, which was created in 1972. This classic was designed to meet the various standards of the European Touring Car Championship racing event, and now, BMW honors this model through the 3.0 CSL Hommage, which was unveiled at the Concorso d’Eleganza Vila d’Este.

This car boasts one of the most aggressive designs in the world, and it does include a few elements borrowed from its older sibling such as rear spoilers that blend into the hood as well as a sculpted front end. During the 70s, aluminum was the most popular material for racing cars, but the 3.0CLS is a modern ride, and so it was made out of carbon fiber. Too bad this thing is nothing more than a concept at this point, but we do hope that it will make it into production one day.
