Mercedes-Benz Sold All Its C63 AMG Black Series Coupes

Mercedes-Benz initially intended to create only 650 C63 AMG Black Series coupes, but then decided to up production to 800 units,  due to high demand. Even though we’re talking about a six-figure price for each one of these cars, the automaker has announced that all 800 examples are already spoken for. Yes, they are all sold out, and apparently Daimler doesn’t intend to produce more.

It’s not that it couldn’t sell the cars (demand is still very high), but the process of turning the original C-Class into an AMG Black Series takes too long and it keeps the assembly lines occupied to the detriment of other C-Class vehicles. So if you’ve lost your chance of owing one of these limited edition coupes, you may want to act faster when (if ever) the automaker will produce a wagon variant of the car (right now we’ve only seen some spy shots of the project).
