Maximilian Büsser and Friends have ‘turned back in time’ to get their inspiration for the MB&F Legacy Machine No. 1 Watch. With a design influenced by the changes brought in technology at the beginning of the 20th century, the watch may resemble a 100 year old timepiece, but the mechanism is modern and built to last.
It features a three-dimensional horological movement and it seems that the balance wheel floats above the face itself. The two dials show completely independent times and it has a power reserve of 45 hours, shown in a vertical meter in the bottom center. Although it looks like a late 19th century pocket watch, this futuristic timepiece is made of 279 components and 23 jewels. The whole mechanism is visible through a crystal back with anti-reflective coating. The watch is available in 18k red or white gold.
MB&F have proved once again their genius in creating an outrageous, extreme and futuristic timepiece, this time inspired by history.
