You’ve got a thing for Leica cameras but you just can’t afford one? Well here’s a pretty cool alternative to the real thing: the Paper Lie-ca M3 Pinhole Camera. Designed by Matt Nicholson, the camera is absolutely free, if you don’t count the paper, the ink, the tape and the film that you’ll be needing for it. Nicholson made the printable design for everyone to download it from the Internet, then fold, cut and tape the paper as indicated, before finally adding the film. Clearly, the pictures won’t have the same quality as those made with a conventional camera, much less with a Leica. They will however still have a charm of their own, as pinhole photography is always special.
