Maserati Granturismo S Celebrates Italy’s Unification

A new limited edition Maserati Granturismo S has been launched in Italy to celebrate the country’s 150th anniversary of its unification. The car was unveiled at the Bologna Motor Show, with a new alluring exterior, an upgraded interior, and some slight modifications under the hood.

Changes include carbon fiber bumper lip, side skirts, rear end spoiler and rear view mirror. Boasting a Blue Sebring color, the ride rolls on industrial grade aluminum rims that are both strong and lightweight. Only twelve units will ever be made, each powered by a 4.7-liter V8 engine, capable of 444 hp and up to 183 mph. The 0-62 mph time is 4.9 seconds.

Inside the car, the few lucky owners will find aluminum pedals, many carbon fiber details, and a new leather and Alcantara upholstery. The central console boasts an 150 years logo to emphasize the car’s exclusive character.
