Marvelous 1969 HAZ Buggy

Marvelous 1969 HAZ Buggy (7)

What we have here is an extremely rare and fully functional HAZ Buggy from 1969 – a vehicle that gives off a joyful and summery vibe. That’s because this particular model was incredibly popular during the summers of the 1960s. However, even though it was originally designed by Bruce Meyers and manufactured in the States, the Buggy eventually arrived in Europe as the Hazard Buggy, and it was manufactured by Autohaus G. Kühn in limited numbers between 1968 and the early 1990s.

The vehicle that you’re admiring right now received approval for legal road use from the German Technical Inspection Association, and it is in perfect working order. It features black vinyl seats, a wooden steering wheel, a fiberglass tub finished in its original red paintwork, and V-style magnesium wheels. The 1,500 cc OHV air cooled, opposed four cylinder engine is able to give off 53 horsepower, all of which are kept in check by a four-speed manual transmission. The car will be put under the hammer in May 2016 in Monaco.
