Christie’s sold the former British prime minister’s purse to a private bidder for a whopping £25,000 (approx. $39,900), at a London sale. Adding to the bag’s claim to fame, we’ll tell you that Thatcher wore it at the Cold War negotiations with the U.S. and Soviet Union.
