Combining speed and luxury, this 42.5-meter (approx. 139-foot) trimaran by West Sussex-based John Shuttleworth Yacht Designs Ltd., is a one-off superyacht commissioned by a couple from Hong Kong. Anto and Elaine Marden will soon enjoy an efficient long-range cruising vessel with a striking modern design and impressive speed.
The hull is Glass/Kevlar foam, the superstructure is carbon fiber and the core is Nomex honeycomb. To ensure its lightweight, everything on this yacht is custom made, including the carbon fiber portlights, hatches, ladders and hinges. The unique anchoring system features three anchors with carbon fiber drum winches. Its top speed is of 22.5 knots, but aside from speed, the trimaran also flaunts high efficiency, thanks to the automated fuel management system.
On the main deck there is a saloon with a dining table, a lounge area, a navigation station and panoramic views. The master cabin is located at the aft, with access from the saloon. In all there is enough room for 9 guests and 6 crew members to travel in maximum comfort. A 4.9-meter tender and another 3.1-meter tender can also be carried on the trimaran.
