Luxurious Geochron World Clocks Show Global Time

Geochron world clocks are nothing like anything you’ve ever seen before in the world of timepiece manufacturing. Even though they look like simple framed world maps to hang on walls (2×3 ft. in size), they are actually advanced clocks that simultaneously show all time zones and the exact time in every corner of the world.

Available in two versions – Original Kilburg and The Boardroom – the Geochron also tells what season it is in every area of the globe, as well as where it is daytime or nighttime. The colorful map is drawn on an endless belt that rotates slowly, in synchrony with the planet’s movement. The device shows every time-related aspect that you may need to know.

You can read legal time zones, Greenwich Mean Time (GMT), Greenwich Apparent Time, Local Apparent Time, duration of daylight, and even the time at which when the sun rises and sets. Other information that you may find very useful includes the degrees of latitude and longitude, the sun’s equation of time and the sun’s meridian passage. For a more accurate timekeeping, the Geochron features a minute analog dial that works in unison with the map and shows the exact minute of each hour.

The Original Kilburg model can be upgraded with different materials, such as natural wood veneers, stainless steel, anodized aluminum, and powder coats. The natural wood panes of The Boardroom boast special “cove moldings” for an extra luxurious finish. These exquisite clocks make excellent additions to business offices and travelers’ homes. Each piece is carefully crafted by hand and retails for between $1,795 and $2,995.
