Luxe 2012 BMW 6 Series Coupe by Ac Schnitzer

At this year’s Essen Motor Show, Ac Schnitzer introduced a new outstanding creation of theirs: an improved version of the 2012 BMW 6 Series Coupe. The car received a full treatment, which included the exterior, the interior and the powerplant.

Now the hood covers a turbo-charged 4.4-liter V8 engine, capable of 540 hp, which means a remarkable gain of 133 hp. This translates to a 0.6 seconds improvement in the 0 to 62 mph time: the ride can now complete the sprint in just 4.3 seconds. The top speed was upped to 202 mph.  Of course, all these upgrades required a few other modifications like a lower suspension, stronger piston-caliber brakes, and sportier muffler tips.

The car’s aerodynamic qualities have been improved with a new body kit, and its exterior has received a few extra style touches like forged alloy rims and a chrome lower grille. The inside received a sporty steering wheel, an aluminum cover for the iDrive controller, alloy pedals, new carpeting, and several more small accessories. Check out the pictures below.
