The restoration of the Palace of Versailles is a very important project that will undoubtedly require a lot of financial and physical effort in order to be complete. Fortunately, thanks to companies such as Guerlain, the task of restoring this amazing French landmark is going to be a bit easier. The renowned French perfume house has created a special limited edition fragrance named Le Bouquet de la Reine, which translates to “The Queen’s Bouquet.”
The fragrance was fittingly inspired by the beautiful gardens of the Versailles palace, and so its creator, Thierry Wasser, has decided to use a mix of floral notes such as bergamot, lily of the valley, jasmine, freesia and cyclamen. The flacon itself definitely looks fit for a queen, as it is actually a classic 4.2oz Quadrilobé bottle adorned with the Sun King medallion. The medallion honors Louis XIV, who famously moved his court from Paris to Versailles.
The Queen’s Bouquet will become available for purchase between February 17 and May 17, and it will cost $600.
