Breitling announced their plans to restore their Lockheed L-1049 Super Constellation aircraft. In order to celebrate this decision, the company created a limited edition Navitimer aviation chronograph in stainless steel, called the Breitling Navitimer Super Constellation watch.
The case measures 42 mm, features an anti-reflexive sapphire crystal, holds inside a Swiss automatic Breitling caliber 23 movement and is water resistant to up to 30 meters. The high-frequency, self-winding movement is officially chronometer-certified by COSC and features 25 jewels. Only 1,049 pieces will be produced (as in Lockheed L-1049) and they will all feature a black dial. Customers can choose from a variety of straps and bracelets, including the Nativer bracelet, the Air Racer bracelet, crocodile leather straps or Barenia straps. Price is $6,475.
