Lexus has decided to dive right into the sport yacht business, and the results of its efforts are impressive, to say the least. The Lexus Sports Yacht was put together using carbon fiber in Wisconsin by the Marquis-Carver Yacht Group, and it is powered by a pair of V8 engines, the same engines that animate the Lexus RC F, GS F and LC500 models. Each engine offers about 440 horsepower, which means that the combined output is somewhere at around 880 horsepower.
The powertrain enables a top speed of 49mph, which is nothing to sneeze at considering the luxurious amenities found onboard, which are bound to add quite a bit of weight. The yacht’s galley includes a stove, a refrigerator and a sink, while the bathroom has a shower. As for the forward passenger cabin, it flaunts a sofa with enough seating for six, a table, and an air conditioning system. Still, since the model is actually just a concept at the moment, it probably won’t go on sale anytime soon. We can always hope, though, right?
